Grandpa in the Navy
Here is a picture of my Grandpa when he was in the Navy. At his Military Funeral they did a 21 Gun Solute and I was fortunate enough to be able to get one of the blanks. So I made a shadow box which includes the blank, his picture, and few other small details.
(Note: the shadow box is open so it wouldn’t glare when I took a picture of it)
The Finished Afghan!!
Ok so this is long overdue as I finished this Afghan right before Christmas! I gave it to my Grandma for Christmas. I won’t deny it I kind of miss the blanket, I guess you can say when you work on something for 2 years you develop a bond between you and the yarn :P.
